# Bridge integration template walkthrough

> A file-by-file tour of the contracts and scripts in the Bridge integration template.

Walk through a bridge transfer from BOT Chain step by step using the hand-written guides, until the bridge integration template has code to tour.

<Warning>
  **In development.** This template is not published yet and details may change. Follow progress on [GitHub](https://github.com/uzolabs/templates). Until it ships, use the hand-written guide linked on this page.
</Warning>

## Why there's no file tour yet

The bridge integration template is planned and has no folder in [uzolabs/templates](https://github.com/uzolabs/templates). This page will cover its files once it's published. Until then, the guides below cover the same ground in order.

## Do it today

| What you'd learn from the template | Guide |
| - | - |
| How lock and release works, and which contracts are involved | [Bridge overview](/guides/bridge/overview) |
| Reading live limits and the minimum fee before you send | [Limits and fees](/guides/bridge/limits-and-fees) |
| Approving USDT and calling `deposit` | [Bridge out](/guides/bridge/bridge-out) |
| Following a transfer to arrival, and refunds | [Tracking transfers](/guides/bridge/tracking-transfers) |

The guides read every address from `@uzolabs/sdk/contracts` and run on BOT Chain Testnet first. USDT has 6 decimals on BOT Chain, so read [USDT and decimals](/guides/defi/tokens/usdt-and-decimals) before you handle amounts.
