Pick a project idea for a BOT Chain hackathon from these example tracks, each with the docs and templates that get you started fastest.
These tracks are examples. Each event sets its own tracks, rules and prizes. Check with your organizers.

AI agents

Build an agent that can act on-chain within limits a human sets. Ideas:
  • A shopping or bill-paying agent that spends from a vault with a daily cap.
  • An agent that asks for human approval above a threshold.
  • A treasury bot that reports balances and proposes transfers.
Start with: AI agents overview, Agent vaults, Spending limits, Human approval. The AI agent template is in development.

Payments

Move value between people and businesses, often in USDT. Ideas:
  • A checkout or invoice link that accepts testnet USDT.
  • Split bills or group savings, settled on-chain.
  • A gasless app where new users pay nothing to start.
Start with: USDT and decimals (USDT has 6 decimals on BOT Chain; get testnet USDT by swapping tBOT on BDEX V2), Gasless transactions, the Gasless app template and the Token template.

DeFi

Build on BDEX, BOT Chain’s Uniswap V2 and V3 style exchange. Ideas:
  • A swap interface with clear slippage and price impact.
  • A dashboard that tracks pools and liquidity positions.
  • A savings or rewards token with its own pool.
Start with: Swaps overview, Slippage and deadlines, Liquidity on V2 and the DEX integration template.

Open

Anything else that uses BOT Chain: NFTs, ticketing, credentials, games, community tools. Start with: the NFT template, Build your first dApp and Events without getLogs, which matters for feeds and galleries.

Before you choose

  • Scope small. One working flow beats five half-built features. Judges can only score what they can see.
  • Check the limits. BOT Chain’s public RPCs have no WebSockets, and eth_getLogs is documented as disabled. Read Known limitations before you design around events.
  • Stay on testnet. Every track can be built and demoed with tBOT and testnet USDT.
