Testnet beta. Uzo Deploy is live on BOT Chain testnet (chain 968). Mainnet is not enabled yet. Everything here is free to try with test tokens from the faucet.
Prerequisites
- A browser wallet, such as MetaMask. See Connect a wallet to add BOT Chain Testnet to it.
- Some test tBOT for gas. It’s free from the faucet. See Get testnet tokens.
Steps
1
Open Uzo Deploy
Go to deploy.uzolabs.xyz and select Start deploying.
2
Check you're on testnet
The Testnet / Mainnet switch is in the top bar. Make sure Testnet is selected. New visitors start on testnet.
3
Connect your wallet
Select Connect and pick your wallet. Approve the connection in the wallet. If your wallet is on a different network, the Review step tells you to switch it to BOT Chain Testnet before you can sign. Switch networks in your wallet.
4
Get tBOT if you need it
If your balance is empty, get tBOT from the faucet. The app also links to it when your balance is too low for the deploy.
5
Pick the Token template
Choose Token. The form opens on the Configure step.
6
Fill in the form
Enter a token name (for example
My Token) and a symbol (for example MTK). Keep the total supply at the default or enter your own, in whole tokens. Send the supply to starts as your connected wallet. The supply is fixed. Nobody can mint more later, including you. See Token template for every field and its rules.Select Review.7
Review the cost and your contract address
The Review step shows:
- Your contract address: the address your token will have. It is worked out before you sign (see How it works).
- Estimated gas, Estimated cost and Your balance.
8
Sign and deploy
Select Sign and deploy and approve the transaction in your wallet. The app waits for the network, then shows Deployed with your contract address. It should say “Matches the address shown on review.”
9
Wait for verification
The app sends your contract’s source to BOTScan for you. This is called verification. It usually finishes on its own. If BOTScan is slow, the app shows a Try again button. See Verification.
10
Add the token to your wallet
Your wallet may open an “add token” prompt as soon as the deploy lands. If you dismissed it, select Add to wallet and approve it.
11
View it on BOTScan
Open the BOTScan link on the final step. You should see your token’s name, symbol and total supply, and a verified source code tab.
Troubleshooting
If a step didn’t work, see Troubleshooting. The most common problems are the wrong network in your wallet and an empty tBOT balance.Next steps
