Quick answers to the questions developers ask most about Uzo and BOT Chain.

About Uzo

Uzo is a set of docs and developer tools for building on BOT Chain. These docs are live. The SDK has an early release on npm, some templates are ready, and Uzo RPC and Uzo Index are planned. See How Uzo works.
No. Uzo Labs is an independent project and is not affiliated with or endorsed by BOT Chain. See the disclaimer.
Yes, as an early release. Install @uzolabs/sdk from npm to get the chain definitions, contract addresses, ABIs and a BOTScan API client. The BDEX, bridge and paymaster modules are planned. You can also use viem or wagmi directly, as shown in Build your first dApp. See the SDK overview.
The docs are free. Uzo RPC and Uzo Index are planned, and their pricing hasn’t been decided.
Open an issue or send a pull request. See Contributing.

Building on BOT Chain

Yes. Solidity contracts, Foundry, Hardhat, viem, ethers and MetaMask all work. Compile for the cancun EVM version. See What is BOT Chain.
Testnet, chain 968. Its tokens are free from the faucet and have no real-world value. Move to mainnet only when your app is tested.
On 2026-10-01 the gas price was 20 gwei, so a simple transfer cost 0.00042 BOT. Read the live price from the network. See Gas and fees.
A block arrives about every 0.75 seconds. In our checks, blocks were finalized 1 to 2 blocks after they were produced. See Consensus and finality.
BOT Chain documents it as disabled on the public RPCs. Use bounded ranges or the explorer API instead. See Known limitations.
Not a public one. Poll over HTTP. See Known limitations.
Yes, with a relayer that pays gas on their behalf. See Gasless transactions.
Use the BOT Chain bridge. It connects Ethereum, BNB Smart Chain and Tron on mainnet. See the bridge guide.
On Contract addresses. Every address there is linked to BOTScan.
BOT Chain owns those docs. See BOT Chain’s node types and node configuration pages.

Hackathons

A hackathon kit is planned for the UNN event in late January 2027. See Hackathons.
